Hi Beauties! Today on The Beautiful Melody, I am sharing 3 ways to incorporate patterns into our wardrobes that goes beyond our everyday spring florals and nautical prints!

Whether you feel limited and restricted with your wardrobe due to your work environment, or whether you are a pattern princess and live life in full color, these 3 tips will bring fresh ideas on how to incorporate fun patterns and prints into your personal collection!

STYLE TIP#1: IF THE SHOE FITS

One of the easiest ways to incorporate a print into your style is through shoes (this is also a great way for those who have a more minimal, monochromatic style!) What’s great about printed shoes is that it will take an understated outfit and make it fierce and everything but understated. I love these cheetah sandals from Steve Madden and these flats, if you are not much of a heel kinda gal, by Sam Edelman are so stylish, comfy, and so cute– I highly recommend either one!

For a more subtle and sophisticated approach on a printed shoe, slither on over to more of a reptile texture, like the items listed below!

I love the snake print pumps, here, by BCBG and how it incorporates color into the mix, which makes them perfect for spring, and did I mention it is currently under $50?! And for all you espadrille lovers out there, this here is a gorgeous print pair by the extremely talented, Rebecca Minkoff!

STYLE TIP #2: FOR THE LOVE OF LAYERS

One of the perks to having an office job, is that you can simply add a textured coat or blazer to create a more exciting and bold look! Below I have listed a few great pieces for the office or a night out on the town. And for those who would rather ditch the sleeves during the warmer seasons, I have also listed a few light weight pieces, such as this scarf here and this loose draped sweater, here, so you can still layer without overheating.

STYLE TIP#3:  THE PURSUIT OF HANDBAGS

Lately as I flip through countless fashion magazines, I have noticed more designers adding print onto their handbags, and I have been loving it. Take this clutch, here, I am obsessed with its design and how it utilizes both print and color blocking. It has just the right amount of sassy while still keeping it classy– perfect for date night or a night out with the girls!

Below I selected a few printed inspiration for you Beauties, and if you have the time, I check out Ted Baker London’s collection! His floral handbags are so beautiful and will instantly bring a fresh new sophisticated and feminine appeal to any outfit you pair the handbag with!
