Hello Beautifuls and Happy Monday!
So I wanted to get this post out eariler today, but unfortuntely my server went down for a while, but it’s back and today’s post is all about my favorite gowns from last night’s Oscars!
Although last night’s Oscars caused lots of frustration and dispute amongst Hollywood and across social media, I wanted to share my favorite part of last night’s events – the red carpet debuts.
So many gorgeous gowns and beautiful people, but below are the celebs whom I thought stole the show.
1. Giuliana Rancic in Georges Chakra Spring Collection
This form-fitting white gown looked absolutely stunning on Giuliana! The front was a simple scoop neck with the floral embellishments starting from around the waist, but the back of the gown – oh my, am I in love! The plunging back and the beautifully draped train was paired perfectly with those gorgeous dramatic statement earrings.
2. Saoirse Ronan in Calvin Klein Collection
Plunging necklines is all the rage, as seen at London Fashion Week, and Saoirse Ronan kept it elegant and sophisticated on the Oscar’s Red Carpet. There were a lot of dresses in this style, plunging neckline, low back, accentuating each individuals figures; however, Ronan’s dress stood out to me for the beaded embroidery, emerald green, and her soft textured waves that made it the perfect finishing touch.
3. Sofia Vergara in Marchesa Collection
Sofia Vergara looked like a princess in this navy blue embellished gown. The way the gown drapes to the bottom creating a small train is absolutely elegant and complimented her figure beautifully. I also loved the simplicity of only adding a pair of sapphire drop earrings and a diamond sapphire ring to keep the emphasis on the dress’ details.
And the winner is…
Rachel McAdems in August Getty’s forthcoming Collection
For a girl who loves trains and backless garments, this jade backless silk slip dress is everything.
I absolutely love the high neckline, the high slit, the long train, the color…I think you get the idea– she was perfection last night in this dress and since this dress won’t even hit the runway ’til Paris Fashion Week, I now will sit and wait until I can get my hands on this dress!
Have an event coming up? Below I have selected a few favorites inspired by the Red Carpet!
Which celeb stole the show in your eyes? I’d love to hear!
