Embroidered Minidress

Hello!! And welcome/welcome back to the blog! I hope everyone has been enjoying this fall season so far. The temperatures have officially cooled down here in California which means days over here have been filled with cozy socks, tall boots, and of course, lots and lots of hot cocoa:)

Over the weekend I wore this look from The Mint Julep Boutique and just LOVED it! The dress is under $50 and comes in five different gorgeous shades. And the best part is that it is almost an exact dupe for the Free People embroidered minidress that retails at $168! But unfortunately, the not-so-best-part is that the dress runs a little big (for petite ladies). I don’t mind a boxy dress. I actually prefer it. It’s better for brunching, lunching, Thanksgiving, and just any activity that includes eating.. but this dress in particular had just a bit too much fabric for my petite-bod that I had to pin it in the back. But! Nonetheless, it’s still a fabulous, great quality dress for the price and a super cute (and very forgiving) look to wear to Thanksgiving in just two weeks!! The dress also pairs perfectly with a cute bootie, like this one here or here.

What do you have planned for Thanksgiving? Are you already prepping for Black Friday/Holiday shopping? This crossbody bag/clutch in this emerald velvet is SOO gorgeous; it’s a beautiful shade to accent your holiday looks with and with the option to add a personalized monogram, it makes the perfect gift for your girlfriends!!;)

Also now through November 12th, Nordstrom is having their fall sale! Save up to 40% on boots/booties and other apparel for the upcoming holidays! 🙂
