This has nothing to do the the Nordstrom Sale, but last night I told myself I was going to go to bed early and the next think I know, it is midnight! Now, I know some of you may think that’s early, but that’s super late for me. I can’t even say I am a grandma at heart because not even my own grandmother goes to bed as early as I do ha. Moral of the story: I am sleepy today and the only person to blame is…the person who created Snapchat because I am on that thing way too much. And YouTube, but I blame Ian for getting me hooked onto that one… #ily
Hello, Beautifuls and welcome to the real reason why you’re here today! We have hit the final week, 5 days to be exact, before the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends and today on the blog, I am reviewing the items that I bought!
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to link everything because it has been sold out 🙁 That being said, if you stop reading now to sprint over here before any more items get sold out, I completely understand…
But all and all I am super happy with my purchases. The dresses draped over the body perfectly and are fitted comfortably (size xs in all for reference). I am excited to pair them with different height boots and scarves in the next couple of months!
The floral lightweight sweater (that I am wearing above) is probably my favorite purchase from this years sale! It isn’t something that I typically gravitate towards, but I thought it had enough white in it that I should give it a try 😉 It comes in both regular and petite sizes, which you know I love because it will flatter all body types, and the the lightweight cotton also makes it perfect for layering! For my look above, I layered it with a button-up chambray, high ponytail, and white denim shorts to keep it casual and because I didn’t want to cause a heatstroke. With the beautiful floral design, I can’t wait to pair it with various shades of lipsticks (plum is my favorite for fall), fun statement jewels– the possibilities are endless!
I shockingly didn’t purchase any over the knee boots this year, but I just didn’t see any that were unique to my style. The booties and the vans I got though, I am in love with. They are super cute and comfy and from the kids department! I am a size 7 in US Women and size 5 in Big Kids hah.
I also bought Ian some dress shirts which were all a success! It’s very difficult to find clothing that tailors to his body type and that it is something he will wear (he’s super picky hah). So if you’re looking for some trim fit shirts for the men, I recommend looking at Ted Baker London and the Nordstrom brand! My absolute favorite is this black one here. It has a beautiful subtle gloss to it that just adds, I think, a bit more pizzazz and sophistication to the dress shirt.
I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday, and thank you so much for stopping by!3
