How adorable are these loafers?! Leopard print is probably one of my favorites to accessorize with. It’s so bold and sassy, and you don’t need a whole lot of it to make a statement! That being said, leopard print can actually be tricky to style when too many pieces are trying to be dominant and steal the attention. So today on The Beautiful Melody, I am sharing 3 ways on how to look haute in leopard and not like a haute mess;)
Neutral Shades Will Always Look Good
Creams, white, black, even blush and olive/military green. These neutral shades are my go-to when wearing leopard print. Partially because my closet is mostly filled with only these shades, but also because I love the simplicity yet striking appearance of this combo. And it is a guarantee to always look good.
Right next to neutrals, denim is another one that pairs perfectly with leopard. Then again, what doesn’t pair well with denim, right? I love pairing my chambray top with my leopard scarf and white jeans. Or if I had a leopard coat, (I am now for sure getting one for this fall/winter) I would pair it with a denim top tucked into leather pants!!
What’s great about this duo is that it brings a casual vibe to the print and there’s so many different ways to style this combo!
Bold Colors x Leopard
If you are a fashionista who wants more of a statement, pair your leopard print with a bold color! Red is famously known to be paired with leopard print, but a bright bold yellow is pretty too. Because they are both dominant, they are not trying to steal each other’s spotlight and therefore they compliment each other really well! One of my favorite looks with the duo is pairing a leopard top with black pants and a red blazer.
Style Tip: To make your outfit seamless, and not like too much is going on, have 1-2 pieces be the bold and 1 piece be the print, or vice versa. Accent pieces you can incorporate: lipstick (preferably in red and not leopard), handbags, shoes, scarves, sunglasses, belts, etc.

I love mixing in this print into my outfits through my shoes, because there are so many different style shoes. But also outerwear is a close second! How do you like to incorporate this fun print into your style?
One last thing, if you’re interested in getting the loafers I am wearing above, be sure to size up! I find that I am a whole shoe size bigger in loafers. Thank you SO much for stopping by and have a great day!!
